I know, I know....

..... being shot down over Hanoi and spending almost 5 years in a hellhole as a POW, and refusing early release over prisoners who had been there longer, resulting in another 4 years of torture, DOESN'T NECESSARILY qualify you to be president, BUT... that kind of patriotism, inner character and dedication to duty and country is EXACTLY what I look for in my President and Commander-In-Chief.

John McCain is simply a patriot and he got my vote a long time ago. Call me prejudiced because I'm ex-Navy, but he deserves the Presidency on his service alone.

Barak Obama isn't fit to shine his boondockers.....
McCain...Haze Grey and Underway!

Well, the Kansas City Police Dept. , in their inestimable judgement, has decided NOT to pursue illegal immigrants and instead concentrate on more " community policing '" in the Hispanic Community. Isn't arresting people who break the law, namely illegal aliens, considered policing?

Yet another example of liberal policies run amok.

Don't they know that the innocuos illegal painting the house down the street might be living (in a house with 12 other people) with a relative or "amigo" who is a drug dealer, thief, or all around scumbag and that arresting and questioning the house painter might lead to arrests of more dangerous criminals? It would seem that that would be Cop Stuff 101. Oh well, what do I know? Until later, " Hasta La Vista, Amigos"

...As I was saying....

...well, it's been over two months since I have written anything. I guess due to having nothing of import to say or maybe just not the time. I will try and be more diligent in writing here, although from the looks of the comments I've gotten (NONE!) no one is reading it anyway.
Let's see what has happened since last I posted;
*Barak Obama has clinched the Democratic nomination.
*Gas prices are through the roof.
*
The Supreme Court has ruled that terrorists are due habeas corpus.
*Tim Russert has died.
*The Midwest is flooded and continues to flood.
Can you say Armegeddon?
But, on a more positive note, and I'm nothing if not an upbeat kinda guy, McCain is campaigning well I think, just waiting for BHO to screw up, the Supreme Court overturned the D.C. handgun ban, the flooded Midwesterners have sucked it up and made do, not cried and whined that the Federal Government didn't do enough to help ( Gee, I wonder what sets them apart from the good folk from New Orleans....hmmm, could it be.....nah, never mind.)
O.K., until further notice, I remain your Humble Correspondent of the Truth....
